About
"In this presentation Prot told us how to do much of our computing with the help of GNU Emacs. Emacs is a programmable text editor that can be used to do programming, manage your agenda, write emails, read the news, and more. All of this is done in an integrated and coherent way, while respecting your freedom.
This talk was held in Oxford on 12 March 2026, as part of this initiative. We have Oxford-based events about free, libre and open-source software, in-person and online for everyone!
